Coated fabric is a specially treated fabric. It can form a uniform covering compound on the surface of the fabric to achieve waterproof, windproof and other functions.

The coated fabric is dissolved in a flowing form by using a solvent or water to dissolve the required coating rubber (with PU glue, A/C glue, PVC, PE glue), etc., in a certain way (round net, scraper or roller) Uniformly applied to the fabric (with cotton, polyester , nylon and other substrates), and then through the temperature of the oven to form a uniform covering compound on the surface of the fabric.

The main types of fabric coatings are as follows:

1, PA coating

Also known as AC glue coating, that is, acrylic coating, it is the most common and most common coating at present. After coating, it can increase the hand feeling, windproof and drape.

2, PU coating

That is, the polyurethane coating, the coated fabric feels full, elastic, and has a filmy feel on the surface.

3, anti-velvet coating

It means anti-down coating, which can prevent down running after coating, suitable for down jacket fabric. However, any PA coating that has water pressure requirements in the coating is also called an anti-velvet coating.

4, PA white plastic coating

That is, applying a layer of white acrylic resin on the surface of the fabric can increase the coverage of the cloth surface, prevent color penetration, and make the color of the cloth surface more vivid.

5, PU white plastic coating

That is, a layer of white polyurethane resin is applied on the surface of the fabric, which is basically the same as PA white glue, but the PU white glue is more full after application, and the fabric is more elastic and has better fastness.

6, PA silver coating

That is to say, a layer of silver-white glue is applied on the surface of the fabric to make the fabric have the functions of shading and radiation prevention, and are generally used for curtains, tents and garments.

7, PU silver coating

The basic function is the same as PA silver glue coating. However, PU coated silver fabric has better elasticity and better fastness. For fabrics requiring high water pressure such as tents, PU coated silver is better than PA coated silver.

8, pearl coating

By pearl coating the surface of the fabric, the surface of the fabric has a pearly luster, silvery white and colored. Made into a very beautiful costume. There are also PA pearl light and PU pearl light. PU pearl light is more flat and bright than PA pearl light, and the film feel is better. It also has the reputation of “pearl film”.

9, oil coating

After painting, the surface is smooth and shiny, which is generally suitable for tablecloth tablecloths.

10, silicone high elastic coating

Also known as paper-like coating. It is very suitable for shirt fabrics for thin cotton fabrics. It is full-bodied, brittle and elastic, with strong resilience and wrinkle resistance. For thick fabrics, it has good elasticity and good fastness.

11, coating

By calendering and coating the surface of the fabric, the surface of the fabric is formed into a film that completely changes the style of the fabric. The general film surface is made into the front of the garment, and has the style of leather. There are two kinds of matt and light, and can add a variety of colors to the coating to make a colorful film, very beautiful.

12, flame retardant coating

The fabric is rendered flame retardant by padding or coating the fabric. It can be painted in color or silver on the surface of the fabric. Generally used as curtains, tents, clothing, etc.

13, Teflon three defense treatment

The fabric is treated with DuPont Teflon to provide a waterproof, oil and stain resistant finish.

14, anti-UV coating

By subjecting the fabric to UV treatment, the fabric has an anti-UV function, that is, the ability to block UV penetration. Generally, light colors are difficult to do, and dark colors are easier to reach.

15. Coatings specifically for cotton

Such as: cotton scratched coating, paper-based coating, old coating, crepe coating, oil-sensitive wax coating, color coating and so on.
